The Character of a Leader - Digital Book

There are few honorable leaders with integrity and character. For that reason, God’s main concern is to develop our character regardless of the circumstances that we might have to endure. God will see us through these difficult moments and allow many other things to transpire in order to shape our character.

Dishonest scales are an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is His delight.  Proverbs 11:1

This verse is equivalent in reference to the character and charisma of an individual. When people do not balance their charisma and character, it dishonors God. In Christian circles, this problem is very real among the leadership of the church. Many thriving ministries and men of God have fallen because of weak character and lack of discipline; their behavior caused great shame to the gospel and to the church. For this reason, charisma and character should be considered equally important.
